I spent the day with my favorite dog! I was watching my favorite Dr OZ guy the other day. He was talking about what is your problem area. Butt, stomach, arms, thighs, or all over. My butt is looking aright. My biggest problem now is my tummy. I know how to fix it but I have little will power. He said if your tummy is your problem you need to eat a certain breakfast. So this am I made two eggs, one avocado, two tomatoes, whole wheat muffin, and a slice of swiss cheese. Now I have never been a breakfast girl. Gives me a stomach ache. I usually have a Dr Pepper for breakfast. I'll give this a try and see if it works. I'm back on my workout wagon again. I have been keeping a journal of the days I workout. So out of 17 days this month I have worked out nine. Still not getting the results I thought I would get. It's really frustrating. While pinning stuff in my fake Pinterest world I had "The Revolution" on in the background. They were talking about people who workout and don't get the results they want. They said after a certain age 90 percent is the foods you eat! I'm fucked! I have this weird love affair with food lately!!!! I didn't used to love food this much. I don't know what happened. Dr Oz says to drink two glasses of H2O before you eat. This will make you eat less! Beer doesn't count damn it! So I find myself in my mirror in my underwear after I workout. I do this every time thinking this body is going to miraculously change into a Victoria's secret models bod! I think I'm going to workout in my underwear so I can really scare myself into eating right! Scary thought huh???? Of course I will not do this when anyone is home. Could you imagine what my big mouth kids would tell people! My already shit name would be even shittier here! Let's give them something to talk about!
Had to take a picture of this! I love my rose bushes. They are beautiful this year. So my girlfriend was over while our kids played. Blake came down and we were picking his brain about who the bad kids are and what they are doing. We were talking with him about how bad under age drinking is. He looks at us and says....you guys drink! I say there is no reason to drink at your age. Everything is new an exciting. We drink because we are gerbils in a wheel. Doing the same thing over and over. Laundry, cleaning, driving people, finding every ones crap, going to games, putting out, wiping down counters, and way more but too much to go on!!!! Alright so I didn't say this but I sure thought it!!!! I tell him we drink responsibly and we are of age. I find myself telling him alcoholism runs in our family. I always hated when my Mom used to say that! I find myself saying lots of things I hated hearing my Mom say! I guess she was right! Damn that hurts coming out! I think it's never too early to start talking to your kids about drinking and drugs!!!!
So I tried to eat healthily smoothies today instead of burgers and Dr Peppers! I hope I can stick to this!!!! My little ones and I always lay in their beds and talk at night. Aidan asks me if my boobs make milk. I was not expecting this one!!!!!!!!! It was a typical "WTF" moment in motherhood for me! I ask him why would you ask me that and better yet where did you hear it. He said Tit's McGee master of boobs said it. I seriously almost fell off the bed. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I ask who the heck is tits McGee and where have you seen him. He said a friend told him about him. OH MY...Thank God it is not a kid that frequent flies at our house. I have to tell him about why boobs make milk. Not ready for this with him. I tell him it's not nice to talk about that kind of stuff and TIT is a very inappropriate word. I never want to hear him use that! It is disrespectful to women. Who knew motherhood would be so full of "WTF" moments!!!! I hope Dad...aka...Grumps doesn't read this one! He hates when I cuss! Just another day in LaLa land for me!
This is the story of three jack ass boys, one anal Hubby, one very close 2 insane Mom, and one perfect dog.

Hey look at me and Twisty
The kids were out of school the Monday Twisty and Ella were here. They had a birthday party at jump street. This place was so much fun. Twisty and me totally acted like children here. We also ignored the boys. Look at the poor kids on the sidelines. Twisty is totally taking up their space. That little girl in pink in the background is about to be sent flying when Twisty hits the ground. See her she is mentally preparing herself for launch. She even has her stance down. You know she's thinking Holy Shit!
I finally get my chance at this after Twisty sends a few kids flying. Look at all the kids running for cover behind me. That is Ella in a panic behind me. She is like Oh shit where do I go. This was surprisingly exhilarating. Even though the place smelled like a sweaty gym locker. Lots of stinky kids and stinky feet around.
This is one of the pictures I saw of myself that sent my ass running. I'm running!!!!!! OMG, does anyone watch the bachelor? I just sounded like the bitchy twig Courtney when I said I'm running. Every show she says....I'm winning. Every show I want to punch her in the mouth. I'm going to walk around and say....I'm running to all my friends. I want to see who will be first to call my bragging ass out. While writing this I just text Twisty....I'm, running, I'm a runner. She text right back...I love it. She's not going to love when I text her this over and over. I'm not going to post this blog till I get a reaction out of her.
Twisty refuses to go down the slide with Ella. She is a germ freak. She has no problem letting me go down the slide of germs and snot. Or her daughter for that matter. I think it's fun. I know I have said this before but I wish we aged in reverse. I would enjoy my childhood so much more. How great is it to be a kid. So while were talking about the germ freak Twisty. She text me the other day.Twisty.........Did you see Dr OZ about the lemons?????
Me.....No
Twisty......He grabbed a bunch of lemons from a local restaurants and found yeast on them. That shit goes in our drinks. Yeast like the crotch kind.
Me....OMG, why do you tell me this.
Me......Imagine all the butt cheese on chips in my house.
Twisty....Just threw up a bit.
Me.....HaHa
When Blake comes home Ella drops everything and goes right to him. Everyone else does cartwheels around her. Blake blesses us with his presence from time to time. What is it about teenagers. They seem to forget how to talk when they turn 14. Everything is a head nod or a grunt of some kind. She likes him more than anyone. She is doomed for sure. She will be that girl that boys will be doing cartwheels for and she will like the asshole that ignores her. Kind of feeling like I'm talking about myself in my younger years. Why do girls do stuff like that???? It's so crazy. I always gave great advise to all my friends but found myself chasing the asshole. I think I used to be one of those girls that thought she could change them. I have finally learned you can't turn a orange into a Watermelon.
This is my house every weekend. It is filled with boys. I have a running joke about Aidan. I started calling him Where's Waldo. He seems to pop up in lots of the middle school kids pictures. I even tag him as Where's Waldo on the middle school kids pictures on Facebook. I'm telling you he pops up in the background at football games, pool parties, and movie night. I feel bad for him. He is a very quiet observer. He has probably learned way to much from them.
Ella has no problem getting right in the middle of the middle school kids craziness. They all love her. Blake's friend Ryan said the cutest thing about her. He said she just makes him smile every time he sees her. I feel the same way about her. I really like this group of boys. They spend a lot of time at my house. I think they are a really good group of kids. Of course once in a while they do something stupid. But that's why I'm here to scare the shit out of them when I find out.
Saturday we went to watch Cole play basketball. Ella refuses to take a nice picture with me. She squirms to get away from me. While writing this a commercial for Twilight comes on. The new one is released in stores February 11th. That is my bday if any one needs any ideas.
My friend Doug shows up at the basketball game. Ella goes right to him and even talks to him. Bullshit I say. Twisty and I have to break her of these bad habits she is forming. It's kind of funny that I was writing about Twisty being a germ freak. I just got a text from her. She is house sitting. She just told me that she brought a can of Lysol with her. Crazy!Today is February 1st it is the first day of FebruKerry. My friend Doug named the month after me. I guess because my girlfriends and I made so many excuses to go out last FebruKerry for my bday. This year I want to skip right over it.
Hub's calls me from work today. He reads the blog once in a while. He hasn't read it lately. He is kind of mad at me. He thinks I'm sharing stories that are too personal. I know exactly what he is talking about when he says our kids are going to get bad reputations. Maybe I should talk more about all the great things they do. Oh wait that stuff is boring, who wants to read that besides Grandma. He then says, your getting a lot of readers a month. I say a lot of them I don't know. He says, how do you know? I say because I obsessively check feedjit. He's like whats feedjit? I explain and he is mortified when I tell him how some of the "googlers" get to my blog. Then he is like you need to be careful. Then he says what if someone comes after you. I'm like....like someone might stalk me because of my blog. I don't think so. He tells me there are crazy people everywhere. I say he is starting to sound like Debbie. Then he goes into this whole conversation about me leaving my car open the other night. He says someone can open the garage and come in and kill us. He is morphing into my mother before me eyes. I say if someone is coming to kill us their not going a politely let themselves in. Their going to break in, I'm sure that's part of the trill for those kind of sickos. Oh the joys of being married. We did just celebrate another year last week. Whoot, whoot

xmas break
It's funny you work so hard to get all your Xmas decorations up. Then it just all flies by and you have to take it all down. No one in my house has any interest in decorating for Xmas. Which means its all on me. I have to make sure the house is filled with all the pretty decorations. This is not actually what I pictured when I day dreamed about having a family as a kid. I guess because they are all boys I can't really expect them to want to decorate. I think I was supposed to have at least one girl. Don't get me wrong I really wouldn't change a thing about my life. I just wish I would have tried for just one more kid when I was younger. That probably would have sent Hub's clear over the edge since our last one wasn't planned.
I get the house looking beautiful. Xmas break is way overrated if you ask me. I enjoy my free time when everyone is at school. No fights, odd smells, no one asking where their shit is and most important a very quite house. Just me and the dog for a few hours of bliss.
We spent most of the break sporting these footy pj's and playing just dance.
I'm still a sucker for a kid in footy pj's even if their a little old.
We all have fun in these crazy footies that we bought on clearance after Xmas.
Even the middle school boys have fun in them. This is because they are from the hey look at me generation of kids.
The dog is like a typical dog sleeping with everyone in house. I just smile when I see this. My parents never let us have a dog as kids. I crazy love having a dog and I love that he loves my boys so much.
Here he is sleeping with another one of these people I live with. I love that the dog thinks he is human. He gets in the bed, tucks himself under the covers and places his head on the pillow. Crazy right???So anyway last night I blogged about my oldest trying his first drink. Thinking maybe I should not have put that out there. Not because I'm worried about people judging me. I'm too old to worry about that anymore. More because I don't want people to be afraid to let their kids hang out with him. I don't want people judging him. I wrote about this because if one parent reads it and talks about under age drinking to their child it could be a good thing. I have decided not to keep drinks in my house anymore. Better safe than sorry. If anything people should think I'm on top of this now. No one is going to get away with this at my house. I refuse to be a house where a kid can sneak a drink. I actually would have bet my house that my kid never tried a drink before I found those empties. Scary right? Never bet the farm on anything. It was only one drink, not excusing it at all. But I refuse to be snowed or out smarted by a 14 year old. He may hate me now but some day he will thank me. I hope! I truly have his best interest at heart. All I want for these people I live with is good health, happiness, and good wealth.
So today I found myself sucked into a show on show time called "shameless". In a strange way it made me feel better about myself. Things could be way worst. My kids got a dirt bike today. This will be another blog soon to come. By the way when I say my kids got a dirt bike I'm referring to Hub's too.
My thoughts are still heavy. Worried like crazy about my kids. I just want to do them right. I want them to make all the right choices in life. In a perfect world right? I wish us as Mom's had a pause button where we could escape and go to a spa to think, loose weight, think, get facials, think, and come up with the right answers. Pause time, nice thought right? My crazy neighbor nailed a frisbee to his fence that belongs to my kids. Pictures and bogging to come. Once again sorry for bad spelling and grammar.

Xmas in Dallas
We spent X-mas is Dallas with Hub's family. The only thing missing was my sweet niece. She had to spend X-mas with the other side of her family. Hopefully she will come for a visit to Austin soon. As you can see from the picture above my kids are those "hey look at me" kind of kids. I have no idea where they can possibly get this from. It can be most annoying. I'm used to being the center of attention. How dare they steal my thunder.
Christmas Eve is always a big night at their house. This time unfortunately MiMi was not feeling so great. Not to mention my brother in law ended up in the emergency room for his back. We made the best of it and got our cocktail on!
Blake tried like hell to annoy my sister in law.
Did I ever tell you I like the dog more than the people I live with most of the time!
Hey kid you just ain't that funny. I'm the funny one in this house even though you don't see that now.
Hub's got me a new camera for Xmas. I crazy love it. I don't know at all how much it can do. I have been trying to watch videos on you tube about it. I wish there was a hard drive we could plug in our ear and all the info would up load to the brain! It all overwhelmed me. Where is that damn easy button they advertise on the commercials?
On our way out we stopped by Frisco square to see all the Xmas lights. This makes me miss living in Frisco. So today my head is heavy. I'm wondering why the years have gone so fast. I sound like one of my elderly relatives about now. I kind of hate that. Sometimes I feel like a 16 year old trapped in a 40 something year old body. Sitting here stressed wondering when my first born grew up. It's a scary thing when you watch your child's innocence slip away. I found out recently and I mean recently that my kid tried a drink. I have very mixed feeling about this. I was a kid once, I remember trying my first drink way too young. I guess I just thought I had raised somewhat perfect children and I didn't imagine myself dealing with this so fast. So my BFF from HS came for a visit last week. Let me tell you this took me right back to HS we took off as if no time was lost. That is one of the great things about people you truly connect with. I went to get us a drink from the outside fridge. I noticed three Mike's hard lemonades that someone had left here were empty in the fridge. One.....I would never drink that shit, two no adult would never put empties back in the fridge with the cap put back on. So I walk in with my tail between my legs two full drinks in my hand and the empties to show Hub's. I tell Hub's Blake is drinking. He walks upstairs to talk with Blake about this. He comes down and says Blake didn't drink them and goes to bed.
I may have believed this nonsense in my younger years but I'm old and I have seen too much. I call bullshit. So Blake comes down after Hub's goes to bed. I look at him and say.....you may have snowed your Dad but I know damn well you drank those lemonades. He gives me a half ass crossed smile and I see right through him. I tell him....I was a kid once (thinking much smarter than him, I would have got rid of those empties) I drank and did stuff I wasn't supposed to. I tell him if he tells me the truth I will not be mad at all. So he tells me him a few friends tried the Mikes hard lemonade. As much as I want to ring his neck I can't because I told him I wouldn't be mad if he told me the truth. Damn it I want to cry like a baby about now. This is my baby, my first born, I want everything to be perfect for him. I don't want him to want to try a drink. Since I said I would not be mad all I can do is question him and put my two cents in that he can probably doesn't give a shit about. I ask him if he felt anything like a buzz. He says No. I say then why would you try it. He says just curious. I tell him he needs to be careful because alcoholism runs in our family and I wouldn't want to see him get sucked into that. I have a flash back of my Mother telling me the same thing. When she would say things like that I would roll my eyes behind her and think she was clueless.
I remember my first drink. I was in my second year of hs. My friend Laura lived in an apartment building with her single mother and her older brother. I had no desire to drink. She said hey lets play quarters. I had no idea what quarters even was. Yet I found myself mid day shooting quarters and doing shots of whiskey. I barfed before my Dad even got there to pick me up. I remember waiting for him in her parking lot. I was kinda stumbling around waiting for him. I can't believe that he did not know I was drunk. I think my Dad and Mom were so innocent when they were young and got married right out of HS. They never would have imagined that I would drink at such a young age. I was drunk for sure. There were a handful of times when I was drunk and my parents had no clue.
My favorite story is when I was a junior. I had gone to a party where we were playing quarters. Someone drove me home, I think he was drunk, scary right! I remember barfing right before I got home. It was back when banana clips were in. I came in drunk off my ass. I crawled up the stairs. I had that banana clip and all my hair was hanging out of it. Mom and Dads room was at the top of the stairs. Dad comes out in his tightly whities. He asks what is wrong with me. I tell him I'm sick, I think I have the flue. I crawl, and I mean crawl to bathroom where I barf up whiskey. Dad stands over me....can't believe he can't smell the whiskey. He gets me to bed. I pass out. All the sudden he is in my room with a phone in his hand. He tells me my friends Dad is on the phone. He wants to know where his daughter is. I'm thinking shit....last I saw her she was shooting whiskey at the party. I have no idea what happened to her! So he gives me the phone back in the time where phones were connected to cords. I grab the phone and I'm talking into it upsides down. My Dad is like Kerry turn the phone over. I turn it over and remind my Dad that I'm sick. I don't know if my Dad ever knew I was drunk that night or if he decided not to deal with. I thought I got off Scott free for sure.
So anyway this is why my head is heavy. I know damn well that when I drank in my younger years I could not handle it. Here is the thing I was never a big drinker in those years. It was so few times that I can re count every time. What I think was when I had those few times I was way too young to handle it. It was never fun I always ended up sick. I'm not ready at all to deal with this as a parent. I'm at a loss here. I know some people reading this are judging me as a parent. But for those of you judging me think long and hard back to your youth. Were you the kid that never had a drink??? I'm sure that some of you may have been. But there are those that did have a drink. So my question is how do I do the right thing for my kid???? I'm being totally serious right now. I'm really wondering how to handle under age drinking. These people I live with are going to do me in for sure! I'm at that point where DRINKS can't be available in my house. Hello padded cell my name is Kerry! So sorry for bad spelling and bad grammar..... I think I can write but I re read and I want to die!
